About
Michael G. Sternberg is an associate at Kalfus and Nachman, where he focuses his practice on personal injury. Mike graduated from Old Dominion University in 2010 where he studied political science and criminal justice. After college, he received his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida. During his time at St. Thomas Mike volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of Broward County where he assisted clients in need of legal services related to landlord tenant issues.
After graduation, he was appointed to serve as a Magistrate Judge for the City of Norfolk, Virginia. As a Magistrate Mike presided over various matters related to probable cause, bond hearings, mental health detention orders, and search warrants. After leaving the Magistrate's Office, Mike started his career in private practice where he discovered his passion for helping those who have been injured. His main goal, in any case, is building a relationship with his clients and to ensure that they receive the maximum compensation for their injuries.
As a Hampton Roads native, Mike believes in the importance of giving back to his community. He is an active member of his church and volunteers at the annual Norfolk Greek Festival. When he is not in the office, Mike can usually be found enjoying the beach or spending the weekend hiking in the mountains. During football season you can find him in the stands at Foreman Field watching the Old Dominion football team with his family.
