About
Attorney Christopher I. Jacobs, a native of the Hampton Roads area, is an associate with the firm of Kalfus & Nachman. Following his own critical injury and subsequent litigation, he began to focus his legal career on offering others the same protection. When working on a client’s case, he examines every angle and prepares extensively as though it will be brought before the court. He makes every effort to see each case from the client’s point of view and help them understand his approach. He has litigated cases at all levels of Virginia’s trial courts, as well as many higher courts.
Mr. Jacobs graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1993 from Old Dominion University, where he studied political science and economics. Following a stint in the maritime industry as a steamship agent, he earned his Juris Doctor from Regent University Robertson School of Law in 2002. He is active in the community, serving on the Virginia Beach Beaches and Waterways Commission, the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad, the Tidewater EMS Council, and the Snowshoe Ski Patrol. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys spending time at the beach or in the Appalachian Mountains.
