A.J. KALFUS
Virginia Corporate and Business Attorney
A. J. Kalfus grew up in Massachusetts and received a Bachelor of
Business Administration in Accounting from the College of William and
Mary - Norfolk in 1962. While working for several CPA firms in California,
he passed the CPA exam and became licensed in California.
He then attended the University of Tennessee where he became an instructor
in accounting while pursuing his law degree which he obtained in December
1967. He became licensed in Virginia in January 1968, having passed the Virginia
bar after the second year of law school. He is admitted to the United States
Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court
for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States Supreme Court and
the United States Tax Court.
A. J. is Co-Managing Partner at Kalfus & Nachman. His practice
includes corporate and business matters, representing clients with
the IRS and other tax related matters, and real estate closings and
related matters. He and his wife, Vicki, have three children.
