 ERICK A. BOWMAN
Erick was born in Wise, Virginia on October 5, 1968. He attended the University
of Virginia's College at Wise, where he received his degree in History with minors
in Economics and Government in 1990. Erick then went on to the Thomas M. Cooley
School of Law and received his degree in 1996.
He has recently joined the firm in November 2001, with his main area of practice
being Social Security and Disability. Erick was an attorney with the firm of
Wolfe, Farmer, Williams & Rutherford in Norton, Virginia from 1994 until
November 2001.
Erick is a member of the Kentucky Bar, National Organization of Social Security
Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys,
American Bar Association, and the Virginia Bar Association.
He is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth and Sixth Circuit,
the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of
Kentucky and the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the US Court of Appeals
for Veterans Claims.
Erick was also a candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates for the 2nd
House District in 1999. He maintains residences in Wise and Virginia Beach,
Virginia, and spends his spare time hiking, hunting, and playing tennis.
